A consulting firm, not a fund

Gap Fund Consulting is a business and leadership consulting firm serving owners and operators who are ready to scale.

The heart of our work is management and leadership consulting: designing the processes and operating systems that let a company run without the owner in every decision, diagnosing the constraints that cap growth, and building the hiring and leadership practices that carry a business to its next level.

When strategy needs to become software or campaigns, our sister agency Meta Mercury Media builds the websites, apps, and Google Ads under the same ownership. And for a small set of real-estate operators, we connect the right capital sources and coordinate project budgets — as a facilitator, never a lender or investor.

To be unmistakably clear: Gap Fund sells services only. We do not sell a product, and we never invest, lend, or hold money.

Founder & Principal Consultant

Juan Lopez is the vision behind Gap Fund. He pairs a Bachelor's in Business Management with a Master's in Leadership Science — both from Grand Canyon University — with something a classroom can't teach: he has actually built across the entire lifecycle of a business.

A serial entrepreneur, Juan started as a licensed real estate agent, moved into flipping and investing in real estate, and founded a general contracting company in the Arizona desert — Desert Wolf Developers (KB-2). He also founded Meta Mercury Media, a marketing agency based in Arizona that now serves companies across the country.

He founded Gap Fund Consulting in 2021, beginning by helping essential businesses gain digital exposure and install the sales processes and management practices that primed them to scale — and become ready for funding. Operator, builder, marketer, and investor, Juan brings a rare founder's-eye view to every client engagement.
